Positive Action for Development (PAD) is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit Ethiopian Civil Society Organization (Registration No. 2330). PAD is seeking a qualified and experienced WASH Officer to join its EHF-funded project in the Afar Region. Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the WASH Officer will plan, design, implement, and monitor both WASH hardware and software interventions to ensure quality, sustainability, and timely delivery of project outcomes.

Plan, design, implement, and monitor both WASH hardware and software interventions across target woredas.

Oversee water supply construction, rehabilitation projects, and solar water pumping systems.

Manage sanitation infrastructure setups and lead community hygiene promotion campaigns.

Ensure quality, sustainability, and timely delivery of project outcomes aligned with EHF standards.

Education: BSc or MSc Degree in Water Supply, Hydraulic Engineering, Water and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related water fields.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in INGOs/NNGOs within the WASH sector.

Proven hands-on experience in water supply construction/rehabilitation, solar water pumping systems, sanitation infrastructure, and hygiene promotion.
